The apartments are good and have lot of space. It has lot of open spaces with huge lawns and very beautiful backdrop with mission peak views. Located in centerville it has easy access to most of the fremont and bay area and has above average access to bus/bart. The rooms are large and spacious. Even though they are old they are well maintained. Improving the bathrooms especially the bathtubs and exhausts would help , but still manageable. Most of the residents get covered(with sheet roofs) parking and open parking are mostly safe as well. The patios are awesome and a real advantage. With some of them almost as large as apartment itself. Most of the apartments have inunit washer dryers. Gym is open most of the year and pretty well kept. There is kids play area as well as a dedicated dog play area which is great for people with kids and/or pets. The community is calm most of the time and there is little interference. Swimming pool is closed for 6 months and sometimes closed due to other maintainance and weather. There are some challenges as well such as when compared to the quality of amenities/services the cost seems to be a bit on a higher side, however still manageable. Since it has lot of open space there are instances when people wander into the lawns and parking areas. Sometimes homeless and buzzed people can wander around. Some instances of lost packages as well from the mailing areas. There are lot of smokers in the parking adjacent to the leasing office due to the adjacent convinience store which allows people to smoke in front of it. Most of the gas heaters are old and need regular repairs. The management/staff was earlier mostly unresponsive or obtuse. There were instances where service requests being closed without servicing. Getting anything addressed with the leasing office/management was a teadious task. Lately it seems like things are improving. Management has restaffed both office and service personell. Now there are very rare occassions where there are unattended requests. The leasing office is responding in timely mannner offlate. The leasing office also has started to arrange some community events like on easter etc. They sometimes provide rebate/scholarships for applicable tenants such as students for instance.

I really love our place here. The town houses are beautiful and spacious. The office staff are all wonderful and friendly. We have had a few minor issues with our place but they where addresses and taken care of promptly. The grounds are well kept and very nice. There are a lot of nice faculties to use, pool, gym, dog washing station (seriously what place has a dog washing station ?!?) dog park and much more. There are a few draw backs though. There doesn’t seem to be enough parking. The non car port spots are hard to come by because people often leave their cars there for weeks on end. We’ve also had people park in our spots who shouldn’t be there (we don’t mind if it’s someone doing a delivery we understand but when other residents do it we have a problem). Kids are also very loud here. We have noticed a lot of kids are left to run around the parking lot and scream all day in the park area unattended. It’s frustrating when you have a baby napping and you hear kids screaming for hours right out side your window. They also ride their bikes/scooters and scream by our place. I’ve almost been hit by a few kids while trying to get from my car to my home while pushing a stroller. Other than those small minor things it’s a lovely place to live.

My fiance and I have been living here for just over a year now. I don't really have any complaints, other than it's supposed to be a non smoking complex yet a lot of our neighbors smoke. It's really bothersome because they smoke in the parking lot and really close by to the units, and lately we've been having problems with rude neighbors throwing their cancer sticks in our front yard. Overall tho the units are really nice, maintenence has been amazing.and is pretty much on call 24/7. The pool is fantastic! Rent is affordable if you could say such a thing for living in the bay area. I've never had any issues with the office staff, they've been super friendly and always get back to us.. They let us use an unrented washer and dryer when we didn't have our own installed yet which I thought was amazing. I do wish they had some restrictions as far as what types of dogs you're allowed to have because someone has a rottie and it almost jumps the fence and it's pretty intimidating because it sounds really aggressive and makes me fearful for walking my own dogs. I've never seen any roaches, the hallways don't smell unless you're behind the trail of someone who just smoked (again, supposedly a nonsmoking complex so ew). I was very thankful our neighbor left because she would always be on the phone outside talking soo loudly that we could never leave our windows open because that's all we'd hear and it was pretty annoying. Most people keep to themselves and overall it's a great place to live. They have studios and townhouses which is pretty cool. Assigned parking is nice altho I was annoyed they moved our parking spot and never told us.

My husband and I have lived here for about four months now and we love it. Every single morning the maintenance people clean up any trash that residents may have left around the property the day before so the place always looks nice. The people in the office, especially Tommy, are super friendly and help us out with any issues that we may be having. They have great amenities: two pools, a big workout room, game room, a rec room, a music room. They even have a little room with a doggy washing station, so you don't have to wash your dog in your own bathtub. Not only do they also have a dog park, but they have very convenient doggy waste removal bag stations all over the place, so it's really easy to clean up after your dog no matter where you are on the property. Even though Camden Street is a very quiet street, we love the fact that we are only a couple of minutes away from the Freemont Hub, which has tons of restaurants and shopping. We also like the fact that they have containers for both recycling and organic waste so that we can be environmentally conscious.

I've lived here for almost 2 years... It's a quiet area. The community is great and the new management is very helpful. The new security company is fast and very responsive. They only down fall is no laundry in the actual apartment but other than that the areas are kept clean and are calm. Don't be fooled by the bad reviews those are people who got kicked out or were forced to move because they were the bad seed in the place to begin with.
